By the third session, there’s no performance, no nerves, no trying to get it “right.”
Just familiarity, real trust, and a deeper ease in front of the camera.
This Los Angeles session felt relaxed and SO fun. That’s what I love about working with returning clients. By the 2nd session, they know what to expect (although I always have new poses up my sleeve;), they can relax even more than the first session and we’re able to experiment a bit more.
During this boudoir shoot we weren’t chasing a version of herself or trying to top the last shoot. (though I think we might have). We simply picked up where we left off, like old friends, allowing space for who she is now, in this season of her life.
This session is a reminder that boudoir isn’t a one-time milestone. For some women, it becomes a way of checking in with themselves and having tangible proof of their beautiful, messy journey from year to year.
