There is something really special about being a returning boudoir client.
When you’re going through your first shoot experience, it can be a whirlwind. A beautiful one at that, but there’s so much anticipation and newness that makes the experience feel pretty surreal.
This is why my first-timers walk away from their shoots confident there is so much more to discover within themselves through the power of boudoir photography and are eager to get back into the studio.
Once you book that second, or third, or fourth shoot – well, let’s be real here, there is no limit to the number of sessions you can have throughout your lifetime! – my point is that after you’ve done your first shoot, you have a baseline understanding of what to expect.
This leads many of my repeat clients to set intentions for their shoots and even plan them out in advance to hold themselves accountable for celebrating life’s milestones.
The deeply romantic thing about boudoir photography is that you never truly know what to expect out of a session because there are always more layers of you to be uncovered.
“The very essence of romance is uncertainty.” – Oscar Wilde
I’m thrilled to be sharing images from a returning client’s SoCal desert shoot alongside images from her first session with me in Downtown LA.
I was so inspired to see how this amazing woman decided to explore different wardrobe styles throughout her shoots to express the full spectrum of her vibrant self.
From in the sheets, to Hollywood glam, to boho, to desert warrior goddess and elegant tulle fashion, she stepped outside of the box and allowed her stunning self to shine.
Scroll on to see images from both her SoCal Desert and Downtown LA sessions.
Her recent desert session…
“I loved my photo shoot with Lindsay, She really took time to get to know me and how I wanted the shoot to go. She set up the hair and makeup for me to have done before my shoot, which is always a blessing. She helped me pose and honestly made me feel so comfortable with it all. On reveal, I was amazed at all the shots that she captured. She really made me feel beautiful. Thanks a bunch.”
