Kat is truly South Florida’s best hair and makeup artist and we are so lucky to know her and get to work with her!
Along with a down to earth realness mixed with a fierce Goddess vibe, Kat also brings many, many years of experience as a hair and makeup artist to our boudoir clients.
After over a a decade of perfecting her skills in Hollywood and the rest of LA, Kat made a big move to Florida to start again.
Now, she brings that Hollywood glam look she’s known for to all of her South Florida clients. And they love her for it.
We love her too and are so excited to share more about who she is with our Boudoir Community!

Here’s what Kat had to say about her journey as an artist, what it’s like to work in the boudoir industry and her recommendations for perfecting your skin pre-boudoir shoot:
What are 5 things people don’t know about you?
1. My name is not Kat…it’s Katia.
2. My favorite movie is Big Fish.
3. I love to cook.
4. I love Sunday brunch.
5. I married my best friend!
What is your favorite makeup look to do on clients?
I love to do a sculpted, bronzy, glowing face with sultry eyes with a dramatic lifting lashes and a simple nude lip. Love to enhance the best features in every individual!
How did you get inspired to do hair and makeup professionally?
I love to create and keep up with all the latest Hollywood trends and put my own spin into it. I also love to customize a look to every individual to bring the best out of everyone I work on!
What do you love most about your Miami clients?
What I love the most about my Miami clients is that they are not afraid of makeup or trying something different. I also love how diverse the clientele is in South Florida!
Why do you love working with Boudoir clients?
I love working with Boudoir clients because I feel that boudoir photography can be healing and empowering to the individual.
What are your favorite skincare tips for your clients pre-photo shoot?
Before a shoot, try to sleep and relax as much as possible , drink tons of water, eat clean detoxifying foods, exfoliate once or twice before your shoot and apply a hydrating mask.
How do you keep your skin looking so flawless?
Skin care! Skin care! Great makeup starts with great skin. So I strongly suggest creating a custom skin care routine at home. Starting with cleansing, toning, exfoliating once or twice a week, having a great moisturizer and applying daily sunblock to protect you from the sun! We have to protect our skin from the sun to prevent discoloration or wrinkles.
Who inspires you as an artist?
My inspiration comes from me always trying to give my best to my clients. I love to bring out the best in my clients. I love to create different looks for different events. I love to create a look that will make my clients feel confident, sexy, empowered and beautiful.
What does your typical day look like?
My day to day is very different. As a freelance artist one day I can be working on TV with a host, grooming or glamming professional athletes, working with major TV networks, grooming singers and celebrities, working on creating looks for music videos, glamming CEOs for an appearance or for a shoot, glamming a bride for her big wedding day, or simply getting a lovely lady ready for a night out or for a Boudoir shoot! I am very blessed to be doing what I love the most.
What’s on the radar for you for the rest of 2021?
For the rest of 2021 I want to focus on gratitude is my new attitude! I am very blessed to be serving looks in South Florida. I have only been here for 2 years and one year was all during Covid. I have been so lucky to have built a lot of connections and clientele in just a short amount of time! I am very blessed.
Thank you dear Kat. We feel sooo blessed to be able to work with you and see the beauty you create!
