Love when my clients just get the assignment. For our Sedona boudoir shoots, I’m always trying to push my clients to expand their ideas of what a boudoir shoot should look like- as we step out of the studio environment.
Traditionally, boudoir photography wardrobe is lingerie, garter, stockings. Unfortunately, it’s not always the right vibe for a desert session.
Recently, I photographed an amazing client from the Phoenix area at golden hour in my favorite little secret hiding spot- tucked in amongst the trees with a view of Cathedral Rock in the background.
My client listened to my advice on how to avoid highly traditional boudoir outfits for her shoot and I’m SO proud of how she nailed it.
Her white lingerie outfit popped against the red rocks and the floral accents still made sense, being in a natural setting.
The gold stringy dress was provided by me (also available to wear for YOUR session- size small)
And the final dress? Exquisite. More of this please!
